Bit of a funky wee number seeing as I'm off to Ibiza next week. 
Twenty year old Tom Morgan has been immersed in music ever since he can remember. From an early age he was influenced by jazz and pioneering electro, which would help to form the diverse and evolving sound he employs now. After buying his first set of decks as the age of fourteen, he surrounded himself completely with dance music, taking the inevitable step from clubbing to DJing and onwards. Being a part of the clubbing scene from such an early age allows him to DJ from a clubbers perspective, forming sets dedicated to his particular audience and granting him the knowledge of exactly what a crowd is looking for.
Forming an extensive network of producers, fellow DJs and friends, there is rarely a moment when he is not hunting for new music, editing tracks or exploring ways of taking his ideas forward. He has organised and played at many a successful night all across his native Scotland.
His influences traverse the length of house music, from Danny Howells and Ralph Lawson to Francois K and Danny Tenaglia. Playing a funk fuelled mix of disco, deep house, prog and electro, he is as happy warming up as banging out towards the end of the night. Balancing a university course with DJing and promoting, he has already earnt the respect of top artists across the globe. With Feedback Bookings taking him under their wing, being employed as an A&R for Alternative Route and Desyn Masiello tipping him to be one of the future heroes of 2006 in a DJ Mag poll, the future looks very bright indeed for Tom.
