[Prog/Techno] James Holden - Live @ 5 Days Off (17-07-2005)
Du 13 au 17 Juillet derniers a eu lieu le Festival appelé "5 Days Off" rassemblant un nombre impressionnant d'artistes de talent de la scène électro / techno venant du monde entier comme Blackstrobe, Chris Liebing, DJ Hell, Tiefschwarz, Tiga, Fischerspooner, LCD SoundSystem, Mike Mayer, Miss Kittin, The Hacker, Vitalic, Nathan Fake, James Holden et bien d'autres. Cela s'est passé en Hollande et ça devait être vraiment géant.
Je vous propose aujourd'hui d'écouter le set d'un des artistes présent lors de ce rassemblement, celui de Mr James Holden qui nous offre un peu plus de 2h de mix.

Review :
Voici pour vous un set Live de Mr. Holden Himself qui passe de morceaux Tech à Electro-Prog sans aucune difficulté. Les enchainements sont très bien réalisés, mais ça on a déjà l'habitude de l'entendre avec J.H. (bien que l'on puisse trouver ici quelques micro-décalages, n'oublions pas que c'est du live 
).
On retrouve ici quelques news tel que son remix de "Nazi Trance Fuck Off" de Blackstrobe ou l'un des morceaux du prochain vinyl de son label Border Community (09BC ou 10BC??? Les jeux sont ouverts 
), en totale exclusivité (enfin, si c'est bien ce que pas mal de monde pense...) par Fairmont aka Jake Fairley (Traum Schallplatten / Sender / Dumb-Unit / Kompakt) cette fois-ci. On pourra apprécié encore une fois le unreleased track de Holden ("Lump"), toujours aussi bon même si c'est un morceau tout à fiat décalé, on adore ça 
En bref, ce set est à réservé aux amateurs de gros sons qui partent un peu dans tout les sens et qui permet d'obtenir une atmosphère des plus appréciables
